Absentee Voting: If you are unable to vote in person on Tuesday, June 10, you can submit an ABSENTEE/MAIL BALLOT APPLICATION found HERE. You can also complete an application on the NDSOS website to print and submit.

Absentee ballots will then be sent out with further instructions to complete and return.
Richland School District #44 - 2025 Annual School Board Election
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 10, 2025 the Annual School Board Election will be held in the Richland School District #44 for the purpose of electing school board members to fill any expired or vacated terms. In addition, the proposition requesting an increase in the Building Levy Mill AUTHORITY is being placed on the ballot.
ONE MEMBER SHALL BE ELECTED FROM EACH OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS (3 year terms):
AREA 1 (one) - One member shall be elected from that portion of Eagle Township and that portion of Walcott Township included in the district and lying north of the Walcott Road.
AREA 3 (three) - One member shall be elected from the village of Abercrombie, ND
AREA 4 (four) - One member shall be elected from Abercrombie Township and that portion of Ibsen Township included in the district.
PROPOSITION: “Shall Richland Public School District No. 44 of Richland County, North Dakota, be given authority to levy up to 20 mills for the school building fund as permitted by Section 57-15-16 of the North Dakota Century Code, which shall be used for building and facility needs of the school district, to include, but not limited to, major repairs and up keep to buildings or facilities, additions, and improvements to school land and sites?”
