𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆: You may have seen a post card in your mailbox this week. We are currently updating our census data of 0–5-year-olds in the district and are asking for your help. This census data is used for preschool class lists and upcoming Kindergarten classes, as well as other useful projections.
** In addition, as our district continues to grow, we want to make sure we are accounting for students of new families moving in, or students wishing to open enroll.

Congratulations to Alayna S on scoring her 1,000th career point last night in a Colts victory over Lisbon!

It's time for another Staff Feature, and this one is a familiar face to many: Mr. Tony Boehm!
Mr. Boehm is our Ag Ed teacher and FFA advisor. He has had a major impact in our school district by building a strong Agricultural Education program, gaining regional and national attention, and inspiring many young minds. Thank you for all you have done for Richland #44 students, Mr. Boehm!

Earlier this week, students at Richland #44 participated in the Health, Tech, and Trade Career Expo at the Fargodome. They had the chance to explore various career paths and learn about job opportunities in the health, technology, and trade sectors within our region.

Happy December Colt Country! It will be a full few weeks leading up to winter break with basketball games, activities and more. Be sure to check out the Events page of our website to stay up to date! https://richlandnd.sites.thrillshare.com/events
Helpful hint: if using our app, the calendar is separated by Events and Athletic Events.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Richland #44 School District!

We are excited to introduce our Staff Feature! This school year we will individually feature our wonderful staff members so that our community can get to know more about them and we can recognize the important work they do.
Hannah Birchem is our first featured staff member! Hannah is the speech language pathologist at Richland #44, supporting students at both Richland Elementary and Richland Jr/Sr High School. Thank you for all you do at Richland #44, Hannah!

Our new school bus "25" arrived today! The 2025 International IC CE was partially funded by a clean diesel grant. 25 will become our new activity bus; our current activity bus 22 will shift to a route bus.
We're excited for the improvements this will bring to our fleet, helping provide safe travel for students both on daily routes and to activities!

Join our school district!

The Colts Volleyball Team would like to show their support for anyone and everyone who might be fighting this battle. To support this fight, the volleyball team is selling "Spike Out Cancer" t-shirts, and the team encourages fans to wear the shirt to volleyball games during the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During October the volleyball team also sports pink jerseys for awareness.
The cost of the shirts is $20.
Proceeds from the sales of these shirts will be donated to a member of our community affected by cancer.
The deadline for orders is Monday, September 30th. Order online at: http://tiny.cc/83mnzz

The first Coffee with Kids event at Richland Elementary School was so much fun! The theme this month was "Rocking Your Socks Off". Students and guests read books with silly or mismached socks. Almost 600 pairs of new socks were collected during Coffee with Kids to be donated to the Golden Sock Drive for the Homeless!

REMINDER: School Picture Day is tomorrow, THURSDAY, September 5. Be sure to bring your order forms to the office. All students and staff will have their picture taken for the yearbook (even if not ordering). Pictures start at the elementary school and then move to high school around 11:30am.
